Preparing for next year’s Cornfield Annuals
On Tuesday of last week we did some digging out in The Triangle which outlined the area that still needed to be dug so that when the Donibristle Primary P7s came down they would be able to work without damaging the strip of perennials beside the fence, or the gravel path.
In rather poorer weather last Friday, two classes of P7 pupils came down to see what help they could give with the management of the Cornfield Annual areas. The Triangle was the easiest task and was well dug over, but the path borders at the Heritage Viewpoint were a bit more difficult as the grass was still very matted and hard to dig.
Hopefully, with a bit more work we can have the borders looking as they did in 2019
